Mark your calendars for D118 restaurant week! Help support all of our districts PTOs! No one wants to cook when the kids are home anyways, too much work!
Boo Fundraiser
Starting in October, CCS PTO will be offering Boo yard displays that can be ordered for your own children, friends, neighbors, etc. It costs only $50 and includes a goody bag!!! A portion of the earnings will go back to Cotton Creek’s PTO to help your child’s school! Check out the display out front on Friday morning, and again during conferences, to see what a fabulous BOO display can look like.
Order your BOO display between October 1st and 30th. See the attached flyer. Other yard set ups can also be ordered during the fundraiser and are a flat rate of $95. Thank you for your support!
MEET AND GREET
We can’t wait to see all of you this coming Tuesday from 3-5pm for CCS Meet and Greet! Meet your teacher, drop off supplies, and stop by the PTO table to sign up and find out about all the exciting things we have planned for this school year! There will also be a table for Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. AND when you are done with all that, make sure to stop by the My Flavor It! Place truck and get a yummy shaved ice or other treat. A portion of the sales will go to the CCS PTO.

5th Grade Yard Signs
Yard Signs Available for 5th Grade Families! PTO has teamed up with VCP, Inc again this year for yard signs! Each yard sign is customized with your child’s name for $26.95 each. To customize your sign, follow these steps*Click Customize Sign*Enter your child’s name*Click the red “x”*Click the red eye”*Click Submit Please know, once you submit, your customized name is sent through the website even though you will not see your child’s name on the sign. You can order your sign anytime between now and April 25th. PTO will be picking up all signs ordered on Friday May 6th. After PTO has all the signs, we will schedule a curb side pickup for you at Cotton Creek the evening of Friday May 6th. Taste of D118
We are traveling around our district each night the week of March 7th to help raise funds for our “parent” pto, the district 118 PTO. Each night is a different restaurant with anywhere from 10-20% coming back to us.
Why do we have a school PTO and a district PTO? The district helps keep track of the two middle school PTOs and the three grade school PTOs. It pays our insurance and keeps us legal. Without them each school would have to pay for this themselves and do a ton of paperwork. This replaces the bingo night that we have had in the past but were unable to do this year. Enjoy a night or even a week of not cooking and see what our local restaurants have to offer!
New Fundraising Program
We have started a new fundraising program! Send your old ink cartridges to school and we will recycle them for you! A box will be at school to collect them. Our wonderful Village of Island Lake has agreed to help us collect them too. There’s already a bin for them in the lobby to collect.
